Wishing You A Merry Christmas: December Newsletter

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

After nearly three years of living and working in the unreached nation of Thailand, Makayla and I are thrilled to be back in the States for a short visit! Our time away from family has been both a challenge and a blessing. Yet, we are grateful to God for this opportunity to serve him in His Great Commission of preaching the Gospel where it is currently not.

This trip to the States is an occasion to reconnect and refresh ourselves amongst our beloved friends and family—you. It is also an occasion to reflect upon the work that God has been doing within Thailand and in us as believers.

So far, we've had the chance to enjoy precious time with Erik's side of the family, enjoy delicious American meals with friends, and share God's testimonies with groups of passionate believers. Our trip back has been filled with much joy. Despite having some challenges as well, we are nonetheless thankful to God to see you all face to face. By tomorrow we will be heading to our second location: Spokane! We can't believe our month in Vegas has already passed by but we can't wait to see the rest of you soon!

In light of the coming Christmas holiday and the commencement of yet another year, I will end with this prayer: "My Father in Heaven, my prayer is that we would have vigorous unity with one another and with you. I pray that we like healthy trees, would continue to grow from the root that is Christ, within the garden that is God the fathers'. Lastly, with Christmas serving as a reminder of the blessed hope that we have been gifted as believers, I pray that we would live out our faith unabashedly, and faithfully, with full assurance, trust, and devotion to our precious Lord and Savior." - Amen.

YWAM Trang Update

While Makayla and I are visiting the States, YWAM Trang finds itself in a busy season. They are currently hosting an outreach team from Montana that consists of 10 students and 2 staff. Besides the logistics of housing and transporting such a large team, they also have the challenge of arranging ministries ranging from teaching, evangelism, plays, intercession, mercy ministry, and more.

Please keep YWAM Trang and the outreach team in your prayers as they do the Lord's work.

1. Time of spiritual refreshment as we visit the States and spend time with family and friends.

2. Pray that God would speak and minister to us in this time.

3. Erik and my relationship with God would continue to deepen with one another and with God. Growth in spiritual maturity, humility, and Christlikeness.

4. Prayers for the base as we host outreach teams as well as our future DTS and students.

5. Spiritual awakening in Thailand, many to come to Jesus. Pray for the city of Trang and that people will be transformed by the Gospel.

6. Wisdom and understanding in raising Hudson.

7. Missional communities, friends, and networks. Favor in our neighborhood and opportunities to share the gospel.

8. Humility and that Christ would truly be all and we would be nothing.

9. Team unity at YWAM Trang.
